How do you work with Pass?
In collaboration with Pass, we support learners to achieve their Functional Skills qualification. We are able to assess learners to match them with the most suitable level of qualification before commencing any sessions. Alternatively, we can guide learners to the correct online course, adding 1-1 tuition sessions as and when required. Once a learner has completed the course, usually around 55 hours of learning, the examinations can be booked through Valley Tuition or Pass Functional Skills.
What does Valley Tuition do?
Valley Tuition was set up to support children and young people who struggle to attend mainstream school settings allowing them equal opportunities for their personal and educational growth. As a small independent Tuition provision, we provide education both privately as well as for the local authorities, schools and colleges. Our staff are trained to a minimum of Level 3 in Education up to degree level specialising in special education needs.
We offer 1-1 tuition throughout the National Curriculum Key stages, Functional Skills English and Maths tuition, Wellbeing sessions and Life skills.
Many of our students have experience of EBSA, SEN and SEMH to name a few. When we work with learners, we need to know that any support or interventions can meet need throughout the tuition and qualification process. Therefore, we are highly selective when choosing outside companies.
